A personal AI operating system running on kristin-vault. Plain text on your own Mac. Claude works inside the same tree, so the files are the memory, the task list and the record at once.

/stress-test  argue against meidle
The restuse when the moment shows up

You ranked hole-punching sixth in your intake, and /stress-test is the only ranked item with a command already built for it.

Lanes

Five lanes, built today

Every note in your vault already carried a Lane:: tag. What was missing was an advisor per lane, so 05-Lanes/ now holds one folder each with its own posture and register.

LaneContent stays in
Work  Klugo, boards, Doozy, Steel Keel40-Work
Family  two schools, three teams, the PTO30-Family
Money  advisor, estate, the vineyard sale50-Money
Personal  job search, health, you85-Projects
Private  the divorce60-Private, no index

Nothing moved. A lane folder holds how the assistant behaves, not your content. Your routing is untouched.

Each lane has an AI Advisor, a Changelog, and Documentation, Research and Workspace folders. Private has an advisor and deliberately no index, because an index of that lane living outside 60-Private/ would be a summary of it sitting outside it.

Zones

Where the content lives

FolderHolds
10-Loopsopen threads
20-Peopleone note per person
30-Familykids, schools, teams
40-WorkKlugo, Doozy, boards
50-Moneywealth, estate
60-Privatelocal only, never backed up
70-Contextthings that stay true
05-Lanesthe five lane advisors
85-ProjectsSteel Keel, job search, health
99-Systemhow your vault is wired

60-Private is excluded from the backup at the file level. The divorce lane physically cannot reach GitHub. That is a configuration, not a promise.

Rules

What it will never do

Send anything to anyonenever
Guess when it cannot cite a filenever
Deletemoves to 900-Bin
Back up 60-Privatenever

It drafts, you send. Your dealbreaker was "slows me down, reports false information, I would lose trust," so it is built to say "I do not know" rather than fill the gap.

Eight things in the way

All from the list you keep in 20-People/Andy Carlson.md. Cause and owner for each are on the punch list.

The three runbooks

The three things I said I would send you after our session. Cloud scheduling, your other email accounts, and Granola. Each one is a short sequence with the prompts written, so you can run them without me on the call.

If you get stuck

Tell it the one next thing

Just tell me the one next thing.

That is a real instruction and it will listen. Anything that does not make sense, send it my way.
